Have just arrived home from your Coolangatta restaurant and I am feeling incredibly disappointed with the service I received tonight from Vin the Indian staff member.
I am known to you and have been dining at your establishment for many years as a regular customer.
Tonight we arrived and it was busy full house and we were 6 adults and three kids 3,9,10
We were out to enjoy another meal only to be told by Vin the they only had table seats for 6
I told him we didn’t mind to wait till the square tables by the windows were available so we could be together.( interstate guests family)
He informed me it was company policy for only max six per table so I pointed out to him a couple of round tables seating 7
I spent my whole life in hospitality and was disappointed that he could not oblige my request
Four were seated at a square table and the rest of us at a round table at the back behind the podium so we couldn’t see our guests.
My complaint is about not been obliged by vin after I requested that we didn’t mind to wait for those two tables to become vacant by the window.
From that moment we were unable to enjoy our night I was feeling very irritable and disappointed I couldn’t be accommodated.
Just needed to share with you because I know you would agree that the customer is always right.
Also to top the evening off we were seated last and had finished our meal before our guest received their meal witch was ordered 15 min before we were seated.
Embarrassing to say the least.
