Lucia's is a cute tea house and bakery on the Earlsdon high street. They have fresh Italian style bread baked daily along with traditional English cakes. Usually I pop in for a loaf of bread or some cake to go. The coffee is decent. The scones are the best I have ever eaten. Dining in is a very unique experience. The decor is just like a classic English country house (like your nans place) and feels more like a living room than a cafe. The menu is like High tea with Mrs haberdashery. Small cakes, scones, sandwiches, panini/toasted sandwiches. Tea is served in a bone teapot with bone teacups. You have a choice of tea leaf, the Darjeeling we had was particularly fragrant and very good. Usually they cover breakfast/lunch but recently they've opened for dinner as well. I have not tried this but it looks like a prix fixed 4 or 5 course banquet menu. The sign touts 'authentic calabrese' cuisine. It's a family run business and feels very warm and cosy. One of Coventry's hidden gems.
