As a former employee, I can share my experience with this company. It is important to note that this review was written about 2-3 years ago and for unknown reasons was later removed from that site. I can't tell you how things have changed since then, but I can describe my experience at the time. My experience as an employee was far from ideal. A significant segment of the firm's staff, particularly the youth, were treated with indifference. The work schedule was grueling, starting at 8 in the morning and ending at 1:00-2:00 in the evening, which meant about 15-16 hours of work. Although we theoretically had a 2-hour break, in practice we were required to continue working even during this period. We were also promised that we had tables provided, but we often hurriedly ate what we cleared from the guests' tables. I rarely had access to food from the kitchen. Moreover, one of the company bosses was using inappropriate language towards the employees, and when I said that it was too tiring for us (me and my friend), he made unpleasant remarks. Regarding accommodation, the conditions were far from satisfactory. We were accommodated in a basement room, in a building still under construction, with only two beds and some deplorable mattresses. The hygiene of the room left much to be desired, and the sockets were not properly insulated. It is important to note that my experience did not last more than 4 days. We were determined to stay because of the urgent need for money, hoping that we would be able to survive for a month to earn the amount of 2300 lei, but later we found out that this was the gross salary, and the net was reduced to 1400 lei. When we asked to leave the job, we did not receive any money for days worked or for transportation. In addition, at the beginning of the employment, our report cards were withheld under the pretext that it takes a little time for the employment contracts to be finalized. This was quite strange as withholding the report card is unusual in employment. Constantly, during our stay there, our report cards remained in the employer's possession. In closing, I am aware that the company can respond to this review in a way to defend their reputation, as they have done with many other negative reviews they have received. I hope that my experience has improved since then and that future employees will have better conditions and more respect.
