Although you do not actually say so, you are intimating that you suffered ill effects caused by a sub you purchased in our shop. This is a serious allegation, but so far you have not substantiated it or provided the minimum necessary detail. Please advise what sub you purchased and what date and time you purchased it and provide us with a copy of the receipt. With regard to your other point, the reason we thought Yasmine Bird may have purchased her sub in another Subway was (besides her reference to stale bread, of which we had none in our shop) that my wife did not see Yasmine in our shop in the afternoon when she said she purchased the sub. It is highly unlikely that either your sub or Yasmine’s sub was the cause of vomiting or food poisoning. Subway ingredients are very safe and strict food safety procedures are followed. Symptoms similar to those that you and Yasmine have described can be caused by a stomach bug, food from elsewhere or even inadequate personal hygiene. Gloves are worn at all times during preparation and food handling, they can be taken off at the till and new gloves must be put on after handling cash.More
