This place is a GEM that needs to be discovered! (the location used to be a DeAngelo's (Italian restaurant) but now it's a burger joint.) The setup is pretty basic: You can order one of their creations from a menu, or you can order the way you want by marking on a pre-printed sheet provided at the table. There is a pad of sheets for each: Pizza, Pasta, Burgers, and I think the last one was dessert. So you mark the sheet and give it to the server and you get your food. Their banana pepper appetizer is amazing. It's like fried onion rings, only with banana peppers. It's enough for 2 (or one hungry individual) so if you have a larger party you'd need to keep that in mind. Their "Messy salad" is similar to the old Tequilaberry's salad, but you can't order it by itself and it comes in a small bowl with your burger. No matter, there are tons of sites online with the recipe for that salad so you can just make it yourself at home. Back to the Messy Napkin: The servers are great, the ordering process is fun (especially for the kids), the food is excellent (I like the turkey burger with teriyaki, pineapple, and sauteed onions and mushrooms), and they even have family games you can play while you wait for your food. The games: they have LRC which is a fun game with dice and little chips anyone can play, even my 5 year old. They have others like SIMON, Farkle, Who wants to be a Millionaire, I think scategories, and more I'm sure. Just pick what you want and take it to the table with you. They also provide crayons to color on the sheet of paper on each table. The wait for the food was not long, in fact we weren't done having fun when the food came, so there's that. We've been there 4 times and have brought others there to share in the fun. It's a great place and we will continue to go. Definitely a hidden gem in Buffalo.
