What a fun brewery tucked away in North Charleston. What a true hidden gem. Great food menu- best food at a brewery in this area. I had the special- soft shell crab and cucumber salad. Delish!! Beers- were solid. Did a flight of porters and stouts. My favorite was the Seaside S'more's- not too sweet and so flavorful. Service- bartenders were so friendly and helpful with food and beer choices. A must visit and return as often as possible.

An out of the way gem. All beers on tap are tideland brews. A flight of their ipa signatures was very satisfying. The food is ON POINT! Beyond typical bar food and crossing into the southern bbq genre. The smoked meats board is a wonderful sampling of their fare. Pulled pork and wings were AMAZING! Brisket was disappointing. Too dry, so glad I didn't get brisket plate, I would've been aggregated. BUT the wings, pulled pork AND we did a pretzel, was AMAZING! Pretzel is warm, crunchy outside, soft inside and homemade mustard dip is delicious!!

Let me start by saying the atmosphere is very nice and clean which is part of the reason we chose to return to Tideland brewing for dinner. The other reason we chose Tideland tonight was for the previous fabulous house salad with chicken. In the past it was a lovely dinner sized salad ($10) on a small platter with a nice amount of lettuce, a compliment of tomato and cucumber with a yummy layer of bacon pieces and feta cheese on top. I always added the grilled chicken for an additional $3. Tonight I ordered my usual. The bar was busier than it has been in the past so with no servers working it took a minute to find space at the end of the bar to place an order since almost all the bar stools were full. Again, not a deal breaker but also not as smooth to order as it has been in the past when the bar was less busy. But, once my salad was delivered I wasn't quite sure what I was being given. It was a salad, served in a paper boat the same size as a side of tots my friend got with her sandwich. Literally, maybe a cup of lettuce, three small tomatoes, a couple cucumber slices, a small sprinkling of feta with no bacon to be seen. It had about half a tenderloin of chopped up grilled chicken on top. My friend had also ordered the same salad, as she had also had it in the past and loved the previous versions. We figured we must have been given the side salad portion. We ate it but definitely were not as satisfied as we had been in the past. And, did not feel the price point in any way reflected the amount or quality of food brought out. When I went to pay I brought up the paper boat my salad had come in and asked if we were given the side salad portion as this was not the salad we had been given in the past and grown to love. The bartender told me we were being given too much salad by the past kitchen and this was the full garden salad with chicken (again $13!). I can't even imagine what they give someone as a side salad. Obviously consistency in product is not important and no consideration or accommodation was made for their change in menu size and ingredient amount without telling the customer while charging the same price. I can assure you it will not be on my list of places for dinner anymore. Beer was good though.
