Both solo and with his band Rogue Valley, he has supported and shared the stage with artists such as Brandi Carlile, Ingrid Michaelson, The Jayhawks, Neko Case, Kathleen Edwards, Dan Wilson, Stephen Kellogg, This is the Kit, and Tift Merrit, among others. His music appears regularly on ABC's General Hospital and 60 Minutes, and his song Be Wild will be featured as the soundtrack to an upcoming State of Minnesota tourism campaign. His song (Rogue Valley) The Wolves and the Ravens was featured in Ben Stiller's film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. The music Chris produces is rooted in Americana but heeds its own spirit. Born out of folk, country, storytelling and rock 'n roll, Chris both honors and builds on Americana traditions by incorporating a unique pop-music sensibility, subtle synthesizers, rich harmonies, and imaginative production choices. But despite late-night deep dives in the studio, Chris never strays from the core of the song itself and isn't afraid to let a raw vocal and woodsy acoustic guitar deliver the story. Chris performs solo, as a duo, and with a band of almost any other configuration. Sarah Christine: Sarah Christine (born 1984) is a Minneapolis based singer/songwriter. She was initially introduced to the music scene when she performed with band SarahLou in 2014. Releasing her upcoming first solo album in February 2017, Sarah has been recognized as one of the most high-potential singer/songwriters in the Midwest, playing shows recently across California, New York City, Colorado, and throughout the Midwest. Childhood: Sarah Christine was born in St. Paul, MN and grew up in the birthplace of Minnesota - Stillwater. She then went on to play NCAA basketball and study Business and marketing which was also the timeframe where she fell in love with music. Aside from the piano, Sarah taught herself the acoustic guitar, ukulele, and found her voice. Along with her Major, Sarah was advised to also begin pursuing a music career. Growing up, Sarah was classically trained on the piano and learned to play the guitar and ukulele in college while writing her own songs. Primarily self taught, Sarah talks about her sound and ear for music has been inspired by Folk, Pop, Classic and Indie music. Additionally, a love for Electronic music also evolved. A unique combination of many of those genres are evident in her new sound on her upcoming album, 'Unheard'. Sarah has a great relationship with a number of talented Minneapolis DJs and musicians, in which their frequent collaboration on stage makes for inspiring performances of incredible raw talent. The production of Sarah's debut album was all self produced within her studio, in Minneapolis. Music Career: Sarah Christine will release her debut solo album, 'Unheard', in February 2017. Her single 'Say I Do' was released January 6, 2017. Pre Order of the full album can be purchased starting February 3, 2017 and the Release is on Friday, February 10, 2017. The entire album is self produced by Sarah, mixed by Adam Tucker at Signaturetone Recording and mastered by Greg Reierson at Rare Form Mastering. Whether a solo, intimate, performance, or partnered with full band, SC is packing venues across the country with airplay beginning January 2017, with her debut single! Brian Laidlaw & the Family Trade: Brian Laidlaw is a poet, songwriter and educator from Northern California. He earned an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing from Stanford University, where he first began setting his poems to music; after graduating, he spent several years as a touring folksinger. He went on to earn an MFA in Poetry at the University of Minnesota, and then to join the Songwriting faculty at McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, MN. In recent years, Brian's work has appeared widely in magazines including New American Writing, The Iowa Review, Handsome, jubilat, Field, Quarter After Eight, Agni and many others. He also had poems in The Arcadia Project anthology (Ahsahta Press), lyrics in American Songwriter Magazine, and credits as a Songwriting Consultant on multiple Grammy-Award-winning and Grammy-nominated albums, most recently Saddle Up by The Okee Dokee Brothers. Brian's releases include the vinyl-LP-plus-poetry-chapbook AMORATORIUM (Paper Darts Press), the book/album THE STUNTMAN (Milkweed Editions), the 7" vinyl single JEREMIAD (Hymie's Vintage Records), and the new full-length collection THE MIRRORMAKER (Milkweed Editions, 2018). Brian has now joined the Creative Writing program at the University of Denver, where he is a PhD candidate in poetry; his work there focuses on the relationship between poem-forms, song-forms and landforms. He continues to tour nationally and internationally, both solo and with his band The Family Trade.

Reed Foehl: With the Feb. 1, 2019, release of Reed Foehl's fifth solo album, Lucky Enough, fans will get a dose of powerful medicine, a cathartic collection of 10 songs that Foehl recorded with help from a mighty musical force, The Band of Heathens, produced by Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist at their Finishing School studio in Austin, TX. It's an album that will undoubtedly solidify his standing as one of the most compelling and vital Americana artists around. On Lucky Enough, Foehl touches on a range of Americana styles, all with emotionally charged lyrics and can't-get-out-of-your-head choruses, from somber folk elegies ("Stealing Starlight" and "American Miles") and gospel-tinged tunes ("Carousel Horses") to barroom country singalongs ("Long Time to Make Old Friends") and jaunty calypso-flavored, country-infused pop ("Wish I Knew"). These are deeply personal songs for Foehl, and while they were written during some dark days, there's a sense of optimism and gratitude, an overriding feeling that the hope outshines the heartbreak. In 2017 Foehl was making a big move, heading to Nashville to continue his craft as an artist and a songwriter. That made sense after co-writing the leadoff song ("Fly") with up-and-coming country singer/songwriter Brent Cobb on Lee Ann Womack's 2014 GRAMMY-nominated album, The Way I'm Livin'. On the way, he got a call from his mother, Linda. She had lymphoma, and she needed him. He didn't hesitate, ditching his fully loaded car in Nashville and flying straight home to Massachusetts. In that year and a half taking care of his mom, he wrote most of the songs you will hear on Lucky Enough. Megan Burtt: Rocky Mountain raised Singer-Songwriter Megan Burtt says "I've always written songs . "I took piano lessons when I was young, but when I picked up my dad's old classical guitar, things took off. "Inspired by Joni Mitchell's Blue, Burtt taught herself to play, dreaming of a musical career. "I didn't know any girls who played music, but Blue, Bonnie Raitt's Nick of Time and the women on the MTV videos I saw, let me know it was possible. "Megan now splits her time between Brooklyn, NY, Denver, CO and on the road. After high school, she moved to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music. There she made two EPs she calls her" practice records. "She formed her first band, further developed her musical ear, honed her songwriting chops, guitar playing, and became a confident bandleader and live performer. At graduation, Megan was awarded the prestigious excellence in songwriting award, being the only non-songwriting major in her class to receive this recognition. Upon graduation, Burtt moved to Mississippi to investigate the roots of American blues music. After a stint there, she played music in Vietnam for a couple of months, then returned to the States to record It Ain't Love, a 12 song collection she made with the friends Louis Cato (of Jon Batiste and Stay Human, house band for Stephen Colbert), guitarist Adam Tressler, and James Williams. Following the release, Megan quickly gained notoriety winning the 2010 Rocky Mountain Folk Festival, the 2011 Kerrville New Folk Competition, and SW Region 2011 Mountain NewSong Competition. In 2013, Burtt began writing and preproduction on the songs that would become her second album The Bargain, which charts her recovery from a serious illness with songs that move from darkness to light. December 2017 marked the 6th year Megan performed throughout the Pennsylvania prison system with her band. "The maximum security inmates we play for are some of my favorite audiences. It's incredible to perform for people who are truly grateful you're there." Megan has toured nationally and abroad as a headlining artist, and as support for acts including Gregory Alan Isakov, Mark Cohen, Brett Dennen, Glenn Phillips of Toad The Wet Sprocket, Lissie, and Leanne Rimes. In 2015 she collaborated with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, as a featured artist. In late 2017 Megan began a collaboration with four fellow red heads to form an Americana-Roots band called Gingerbomb. In addition to this new project, Megan is currently in the studio working on her third full-length solo record, slated for a Fall 2018 release. The Band of Heathens: American rock and roll band, formed in 2006 by Gordy Quist and Ed Jurdi.

I'm bored of listening, I want in on this band. And we're doing a rebranding." And Jedidiah said, "Hell yeah. And we're getting Oliver Mueller of Slow Caves to produce our EP." Each style of music requires a different approach in singing and I do my best to recognize each student for his/ her own strengths and interests. I strive to create a safe environment for my students to achieve the best results.

What started out as an occasional creative outlet is now my way of life. Growing up just outside New York City, I began playing guitar in the hallways of my high school, learning the songs of The Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Smashing Pumpkins, and Dave Matthews Band. I graduated, went to college for a communications degree, and finished feeling way more inclined to make music than anything else, so I hit the road. In these past 15 years, I've played in every state in the U.S. and toured extensively throughout Europe. I've had the honor of playing with a slew of incredible musicians wherever I've gone. I just released my ninth LP, Natural, and I've also released three solo EPs as well as a song-a-week project of 2008 called" 52" . I also am in three bands that have recorded albums over the past few years -The Open Sea with Rosi Golan, Bluebirds of Paradise with Chrissi Poland, and most recently a duets album with Judy Collins called Silver Skies Blue, which was nominated for a Grammy award for" Best Folk Album" of 2017. Sometimes my music is heard on TV or in movies - The Path, The Lincoln Lawyer, Private Practice, Army Wives, and One Tree Hill to name a few. I also scored music for a film called Dreamriders, a documentary which won several independent film awards. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to sing and play music for a living. I wanna keep it going for as long as possible. It's good for my soul, and I love knowing that what i create can have a real impact on people. Taylor Carson: "Go Amaze" is Taylor Carson's 6th studio album in 10 years. From humble beginnings in the bars of DC and New York, he has shared stages coast to coast with pop stars like Eric Hutchinson, folk legends like John Hiatt and even President Bill Clinton. His music has been featured in the award-winning documentary, Dog Days, and by The Red Cross. Defending The Name (2010), won an Independent Music Award and broke the Top 100 on iTunes. We can know him through his music: The Taylor Carson on Open Invitation (2005) is a semi-cheeseball lovesick singer, on Tangled In Truth (2007) he is the energetic youth seizing the day, on Standing Alone (2008) he is a contemplative finger-picking crooner, on Defending The Name (2010) he is wrestling with his demons and in With Innocence (2013) he has emerged as a peaceful, hopeful man. 2016's Go Amaze, peaked at #8 on iTunes, and features a Taylor Carson driven by an optimistic pursuit of joy and tempered by hard-won wisdom. "Your dreams can't come true if you don't choose to follow them" (Shine). The lyrics offer glimpses into the" quarter-life crisis" stage -- returning to the roots of family, yearning for opportunity and recognition and choosing how to approach the inevitable challenges of life: "Spending all this time wasting time / Press play, fast-forward, then complain about no rewind" (Wonder). • The Nadas - Dan Tedesco

Yes, they have been around long enough that if they were a car you would keep them covered in your garage except for sunny weekend cruising. But that isn't what is important about their story. What is important is that they make music that makes you feel things. Happy, sad, nostalgic, optimistic, energized, curious, inspired, and confused. The important part is that it makes you want to listen, and sometimes dance. 2018 will mark the 25th year of The Nadas. In January, they just released their 11th studio record entitled "One Louder" . At a stage where most bands would be resting on their laurels and letting others do the heavy lifting, The Nadas are out there swinging for the fences, driving the van and carrying their own instruments. This fall (2018), The Nadas will be honored by being inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. DAN Tedesco: My story is…..that I have no story, per se. I come from a solid family. It's a point of pride. I grew up in the far west suburbs of Chicago. My folks weren't rich, but there wasn't much that I was left wanting. I've never been arrested. Always got good grades. I never developed any major drug addictions (at least, not yet). The only serious addiction in my life, if you'd like to call it that, has been with music. Let me bring you up to speed. Piano at age 5. Violin at age 9. Guitar at age 11 after hearing Eddie Van Halen. And that, as they say, is all she wrote. I've been madly in love with it ever since.Growing up my ears were fortunate enough to be treated to a fairly eclectic musical mix: The Beatles, Dylan, Paul Simon, James Taylor, The Band, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, CCR, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty. Even a healthy dose of Mozart, Beethoven and Wagner. A friend in my neighborhood used to make cassette mixes for me: The Who, They Might Be Giants, The Police, The Clash. I missed the grunge period, and it wouldn't be until nearly a decade later that I'd discover the power of Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Once I found the guitar, things focused in a touch. It wasn't unusual for me to fall asleep at night to the sounds of guitar wizards like Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson. And the random Van Halen record was never far away. Then there was the jazz period. Wes Montgomery. Joe Pass. George Benson. Charlie Christian. John Coltrane. Elvin Jones. McCoy Tyner. The things I learned from those guys. Man. It's everything really. The spirit of jazz. The freedom of it. That's been it's great influence on me. But I was always a rock 'n roll kid. Pete Townsend more than Pat Metheny. And, ultimately, I craved power chords over the complex harmonies of jazz. High school was a weird time. I straddled the jock world, playing baseball, and the music world, as a member of the high school jazz band. Most mornings, after being dropped off by the bus, everyone would hang out in the lunchroom before first period. Not me. I'd head straight to a room adjacent to the school's band rehearsal hall, writing music on the computer. Like I said, it was an addiction. Outside of school, I jammed in a duo with one of my best friend's, who happened to be a fantastic drummer. We wrote all kinds of stuff. Lots of instrumental music (queue the Satriani). Recorded various demos. But neither of us sang. That made it hard to play out. And most of the other kids were interested in the classics: Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Stones. They weren't interested in what we had going on. So, like many of my heroes, I was a bit of a social outcast. That, if anything, was and has always been my struggle. Everyone has at least one. And I found my comfort, security and confidence in the world out on the fringe, populated by the misfits. The world of rock 'n roll.

• The Nadas - Dan Tedesco

Yes, they have been around long enough that if they were a car you would keep them covered in your garage except for sunny weekend cruising. But that isn't what is important about their story. What is important is that they make music that makes you feel things. Happy, sad, nostalgic, optimistic, energized, curious, inspired, and confused. The important part is that it makes you want to listen, and sometimes dance. 2018 will mark the 25th year of The Nadas. In January, they just released their 11th studio record entitled "One Louder" . At a stage where most bands would be resting on their laurels and letting others do the heavy lifting, The Nadas are out there swinging for the fences, driving the van and carrying their own instruments. This fall (2018), The Nadas will be honored by being inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. DAN TEDESCO: My story is…..that I have no story, per se. I come from a solid family. It's a point of pride. I grew up in the far west suburbs of Chicago. My folks weren't rich, but there wasn't much that I was left wanting. I've never been arrested. Always got good grades. I never developed any major drug addictions (at least, not yet). The only serious addiction in my life, if you'd like to call it that, has been with music. Let me bring you up to speed. Piano at age 5. Violin at age 9. Guitar at age 11 after hearing Eddie Van Halen. And that, as they say, is all she wrote. I've been madly in love with it ever since.Growing up my ears were fortunate enough to be treated to a fairly eclectic musical mix: The Beatles, Dylan, Paul Simon, James Taylor, The Band, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, CCR, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty. Even a healthy dose of Mozart, Beethoven and Wagner. A friend in my neighborhood used to make cassette mixes for me: The Who, They Might Be Giants, The Police, The Clash. I missed the grunge period, and it wouldn't be until nearly a decade later that I'd discover the power of Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Once I found the guitar, things focused in a touch. It wasn't unusual for me to fall asleep at night to the sounds of guitar wizards like Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson. And the random Van Halen record was never far away. Then there was the jazz period. Wes Montgomery. Joe Pass. George Benson. Charlie Christian. John Coltrane. Elvin Jones. McCoy Tyner. The things I learned from those guys. Man. It's everything really. The spirit of jazz. The freedom of it. That's been it's great influence on me. But I was always a rock 'n roll kid. Pete Townsend more than Pat Metheny. Performance High Showcase: Performance High helps aspiring and professional singers and musicians in Colorado's Front Range with vocal skills, stage performance skills, songwriting, demo production, and career advice. We work with professional, not-yet-professional, and "just want to have fun" singers and musicians to help with voice, performance, songwriting, and both live and recorded production. Our team has worked with Casey Abrams and Jaden Carlson, various Colorado musicians in bands like the Getting Betty, Guitar Villians, Some Friends of Mine, Vacant Throne, the Omnibuds, and the Porch Pickers; many singer-songwriters including many with one or more released albums; auditioners for shows like The Voice and American Idol; and bands signed to labels including Atlantic, Elektra, Immortal, Wind Up, Curb, Blind Bat, S-Curve, Victory, Blues Legacy and J Records.

• Juannah - Nick Pauly

JUANNAH: Juannah was born when Hannah Pinar, a dancer and Colorado Springs native, met percussionist and Colombian, Juan Vargas, while traveling in South America 3 years ago. The two immediately bonded through their love of music and pushed each other to explore their talent and create together. Hannah's sweet voice carries a jazzy pop vibe, and her lyrics are thoughtful, featuring a wide range of human emotion. Juan's guitar and mix of instruments is interesting and never lacks a danceable rhythm. This duo loves improvisation and has been known to break into spontaneous jam sessions during live performances. NICK PAULY: Nick Pauly is a Denver based artist who has been an active part of the Colorado music scene since he was a young teenager. Now at 26 years old he has experience writing, performing, and recording with a multitude of different musical projects. Currently Nick plays bass in the Denver based Rock & Soul act 'The Movers & Shakers" as well as pursuing his solo project. Nick's songwriting is rooted in soul, folk, blues and reggae. With influences ranging from jazz to BB King to Neil Young and Dispatch to Peter Tosh and Israel Vibration. His unique blend of these genres is what defines his songwriting style. Nick has shared the stage with The Skatalites, Morgan Heritage, John Brown's Body, Easy Star All-Stars, Tribal Seeds, Stick Figure, The Supervillians, Ballyhoo!, Trampled Underfoot, Big Head Todd and The Monsters, as well as various other national and international touring acts!

• Poor Moxi - Redamancy, the Strugglenauts

Redamancy: Led by frontwoman Bella Musser, Redamancy is a force to be reckoned with. Their dark, sultry music brings an edgy-yet-familiar sound to the alternative rock scene.
