No sé qué me gusta más, si el espacio, Ana, Tiago, o la comida. Por no hablar de las cerámicas de Teresa Pavão en las que sirven los platos... todo delicioso! No me canso de repetir!
Excepcional experiencia! Todos los platos muy buenos y muy originales. Comer con el cocinero a un lado preparando los platos con tanta dedicación es una maravilla. Muy recomendable.
OK, everything at Leopold isn't perfect. I could honestly say, a dish or two here and there were merely "good", not "wonderful". BUT... but we really appreciate a restaurant that "goes for it". You know- tries something new and different in a well thought out way. Even when they don't knock it out every time, you can tell when a restaurant is really going for it. That's Leopold in a nutshell. When you walk through that door, which reminded me of Alice going through the rabbit hole, I feel like you're transported into the home of a world class cooking family. And they're cooking just for you. The ambiance was totally unique for me- formal, but still homey at the same time. Modern, but still warm and inviting. They get 5-stars simply for the creativity and audacity of their dishes. There was onion broth with poached egg, banana and cheese, bread sausage (but not the traditional kind), fish with couscous... It's all very difficult to try to describe so I won't try. Simply try them if you're in Lisbon and you'll understand. Walk through that little door and be transported to a different culinary world. Not to be missed...
