This review is for the SFO location of this restaurant: Typical overpriced airport food, but that's not the reason for the low rating. 2 stars because the service was terrible. It was slow (which is never something you want at an airport restaurant when people are on a time schedule), and when my food arrived it was cold. I ordered a hamburger with friends and normally I am not picky about my food's temperature, but my fries were served cold, which is gross. I told the waitress it was cold and she friggin touched my food!! My husband and I were both so shocked, we couldn't believe it. She said she'll heat it up but I asked her "Um..you just touched it, can you give me new one??" She then denied she touched it, but both my husband and I just saw her stick her finger into my food inches from my face. Rather than just agreeing to switch out my food, we went back on forth with me saying she touched my food and her denying it. Finally, her manager came over and resolved the issue. Maybe she did it on accident, but still, did she not feel her finger go into my fries? Anyway, I got my food swapped and heated, and I checked for spit in my burger and didn't find any ;) Would give just 1 star because service was terrible, but giving 2 stars because the food was good.
Ordered food at 7:28 for delivery with a delivery at 8:15... a few texts saying it was going to be later. Finally they cancel at 9|05. I have a family waiting for food and had ordered a large order. There are lots of better Southern food in SF that would never pull a stunt like this. Save your money.
Wonderful place, try the shrimp and grits! It is great to support a restaurant like this, that serves the community the way that 1300 on Fillmore does. A true Fillmore restaurant with authentic food.
