The waitress was very nice (and I completely forgot her name although she told me). So I'll admit it, we probably came off as difficult because there were a few things we didn't like and a few things we liked:
Fried Green Tomato Caprese - great flavor & nice crisp on the fried tomatoes
Bacon & Scallops - This was a misleading dish. As you'll see from the pic, the bacon was like a big huge slice of fatty bacon. Not even pork belly ish, just bacon. It looked like a pork chop but was mostly fat. My friend took it to task and picked out all the meat but it was just not what we were expecting based on the menu description. The flavor was good though! The server was sweet enough to take them off our bill.
I ordered the Vinho Verde wine which was delicious. Then I switched to prosecco which for some reason seemed flat even though it was from one of the smaller individual bottles. It was a mystery.
To continue with me being difficult, when I went to the restroom, the toilet wouldn't flush and had no water in it so I had to come rolling out and tell them and they all felt badly.
Overall a good experience, just would change up the description on the Bacon & Scallops
