I truly cannot say enough good things about the Glen Cove Hotel & Restaurant! My husband and I were gifted a few nights here for our wedding gift and wow! Location: Let’s start off with the location! Personally I find this to be the perfect spot to vacation! The hotel itself rests on the corner of a street overlooking the beach and the Stonebridge Marina! We had two windows in our room on the fourth floor and could see both! It was beautiful! Staying at the hotel grants you 24/7 access to park in their lot and we took full advantage! Onset Village, where the famous Marc Anthony’s and Nana’s Ice Cream and Sweets are, is a short walk away making late night bites very convenient without dealing with the hassle of parking! Also who doesn’t love eating an ice cream while walking the beach? Hotel: The hotel itself gave more of a cozy inn vibe than a traditional hotel, I personally loved it! Four floors, the restaurant, a guest only lounge area, and a small shared kitchenette in the lobby with access to various snacks all day and a grab and go breakfast spot in the morning! The snacks were very nice to have as a little pick me up throughout the day. If you plan on staying in your room all day or need a large living area, maybe this isn’t the place for you. The room we had was everything we needed, a bathroom and a place to sleep at night and it was all very clean! Fair warning we did notice that around 8pm-10pm there was more rowdy nightlife outside of the hotel than at other points of the day if that is something that would affect you. Not the hotel’s fault just an experience we thought we’d share. Restaurant: Let me just say if it’s still on the menu whenever you visit you MUST try the Chicken Stir Fry!! It was incredible! My husband thoroughly enjoyed it and I found myself stealing bites off his plate numerous times! I had the lobster roll which was very tasty opinions! And the bruschetta was super good! We’re suckers for a good appetizer! The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed eating while looking out onto the beach! Our last night we ended up ordering a piece of the Salted Caramel cheesecake to take back up to our room and that was also very good! If you don’t like too much caramel maybe try something else because it is very heavy with it! Still great! Overall we had such an incredible stay at the Glen Cove Hotel & Restaurant! We couldn’t recommend it more. Service: 5
