After this experience, we definitely won’t be returning to Bab El Nil. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing from start to finish. The prices are very high for what is offered. Several of our orders arrived incorrectly, and some dishes never arrived at all despite reminding the staff more than once. The food was the biggest disappointment. It was nowhere near the standard you would expect from a restaurant in a luxury hotel. We didn’t enjoy the taste at all, and it seemed as if it had been prepared long before it was served, so it didn’t feel fresh. We expected a memorable dining experience, but unfortunately it was the complete opposite. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially for families looking for good service, quality food, and a pleasant atmosphere. There are many better dining options in Cairo.
