I go for City Soul Open Mic Night and I loooove it!! By far my favorite way to spend a Wednesday night!!! The staff are amazing and the atmosphere is explosive!!! Drinks are pretty good too!! :)

Attended Kindred Show with "VIP" tickets. There was nothing VIP about the service as we were seated at least 20 minutes before a server approached us about the bottle we ordered. We placed our meal order 24 hours in advance and still had to wait two hours to recieve our meal. The staff was friendly, but clearly not empowered to provide quality service. With the multiple issues we had, you think the owner would visit our table to try and salvage the evening. Nope. The venue is not well cooled, so it was warm and humid inside; decor is thrown together; that facility does not appear to get nightly break down and cleaning, nothing reflects choices based on quality. Meals are even served on heavier duty paper plates. 44 is more of a juke joint with a hole in the wall type feel. Unless you have nothing else to do, and are bored out you mind, skip it.
