My pal who had a Saturday evening meeting at HSU wanted to watch the world series afterwards. He called 67 grill on Friday and was assured that they should be open to watch the remainder of the game at the establishment. He invited me to come and watch with him. Unfortunately, the person on the phone didn't let his staff know this and the poor waitress tried to tell us that they were closed, even though there were 12 others in the bar. My friend was greatly disappointed and tried to argue that he was told that the establishment would be open. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. The day staff should have notified the evening staff of the promises made. Fyi- the other patrons must have been regulars as they continued to be in the bar as we left.
