When I first walked in, the impression wasn’t great — the employee was asleep in a chair. As I browsed, I was simply trying to find items that matched the Gold Pass offers on the app, but instead of assistance, I felt like the clerk was watching me suspiciously. When I went to check out, the app didn’t apply some of the discounts, so I removed those items. The cashier then manually removed discounts that were already correctly applied to other items I still intended to buy. When I pointed out that my drink should have been free, I felt the issue wasn’t handled properly. Overall, the experience came across as unprofessional and unhelpful, which is disappointing given the convenience and value the app is supposed to provide.
