I’ve given this 7-Eleven so many chances because I live nearby and my kids love grabbing slushies here (when the machine actually works—which is maybe half the time). I’ve overlooked a lot, but today was the last straw. I placed a DoorDash order using credits, and the experience was beyond frustrating. The cashier immediately told me they didn’t have the milk I ordered. Fine—but when I asked him to cancel the order, he refused and told me I had to cancel it myself, which would mean no refund even though the store couldn’t fulfill the order. That makes no sense. Trying to work around it, I grabbed a few small milk cartons as a substitute (still not even close to what I originally ordered), and he told me I’d have to pay extra. When I pointed out that I already paid for two gallons, he suddenly changed his tune and said he could cancel the order after all. So clearly, it wasn’t that he couldn’t—he just didn’t want to. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had here either. I’ve never received a complete DoorDash order from this location. Between the unreliable equipment and consistently poor customer service, I’m done. I won’t be coming back, and I’d strongly recommend avoiding placing DoorDash orders from this store.
