This is an authentic Chinese restaurant, with provincial chinese dishes and not the typical local Chinese flavors. I have dined here twice and each time we ordered the dumplings once the pork and the other time the egg dumpling. This dumpling variety is bigger than the usual dumpling and is filling so be sure not to stuff your self with them before the actual dinner arrives, as I did.

The dishes might seem familiar, such as sizzling bean curd but the flavors of the dish is different. You will know once you have tasted.

Chinese cuisine is complex, as different provinces or villages in China have different varying dishes. So 998 brings a little bit of this complexity for our experience.

The place has separate rooms for small gatherings or private dining. one room downstairs and two others upstairs. The ones upstairs are bigger than the room below.

A good place for family dinners and small gatherings, great food as well.

Had an office party here. Went before to order the food and found it a bit difficult to communicate with the Chinese managers. But they were very helpful. They gave a pretty good rate for a wide variety of items we chose for a crowd of 35. They do need to quicker at serving though.

One of the tastiest Chinese ever had... love the staff, atmosphere and mostly the HOT BUTTERED CUTTLEFISH amazing!! Mixed fried vegetables is a must try as well...love the food!!
