I have been a customer of this establishment since it opened at the South Calgary Farmers’ Market. I certainly enjoy the Montreal smoked meat sandwiches and French fries sold here. On July 18, 2024, I decided to try out a steamed hot dog with fries. I am a senior, handicapped, as I have mobility issues, and must use a cane due to osteoarthritis. On this day, I was served by a most exceptional and caring person, Lori. I told her that I would have to sit at a table halfway down the aisle for my order, since the table and chairs right beside Flavours of Quebec were just too high off the ground for me to climb up on. I was very pleased when Lori came all the way to me with my order, plus brought me extra condiments and a straw for my drink. She was smiling and so pleasant. She made me feel like I cared. I will most certainly visit Flavours of Quebec again, not just for the delicious food, but also the wonderful customer service, especially by Lori. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Gravy is a bit under seasoned but good. Tasted just like Montreal. Ordered size large for about $15 and it was worth it. Fried freshly fried and cheese curd melts perfectly. Recommended dishes: Pure Maple Syrup

Prices have increased significantly for the portions given. Fries were warm, gravy only warm, cheese curds tasted stale, sandwich small in size for price, extreme amount of mustard applied to the sandwich which made the rye bread soggy and wet. The only good thing about the whole ordeal was they had plenty of napkins to sop up the extra mustard and moisture from the sandwich, table and hands. Would not recommend this deli to anyone.
