I've been wanting to try Fufu and egusi for a while now. My daughter and I went to lunch here on Mother's Day weekend. And I must say it was a very pleasant experience! I would definitely recommend. The food was hot, flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was amazing. And the prices were reasonable. Africana has been added to one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Exceptional! My son wanted to try a different cuisine than the typical Italian, Thai or Mexican that we usually eat, so we decided on Africana. We do not regret it. The atmosphere is super comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and the food was unique and different from our usual cuisine. We had the beef samosas to share and I ordered the egusi with fufu, my son got the goat soup with fufu, and my husband got the waakye rice. Everything was so flavorful. My only regret is my son and I getting the same side—I wish one of us would’ve tried something different so we could experience more of the menu. Either way, we will return. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Waakye Rice with Chicken, Goat Soup with Choice of Side
