Este restaurante es muy recomendable por su de confianza personal. Según la valoración de Google, AV8 ha logrado un 4,3.

I went to AV8 to have a nice dinner with my boyfriend. Knowing that the owner and staff are the ones which served Osteria Gioia(now closed) I had high expectations. Long story short, it is not the same and the biggest regret of the night was knowing that we can never eat the good dishes from Osteria Gioia,like in the old times. At first I took a Moldova Colada which is a reinterpretation of the classic Pina Colada. It is made with a local brand cognac and pineapple and peach juice. It was not bad, but also not great. I know places where I can drink far more good cocktails. I won’t come back for the drinks. Then we took from the new menu the Calzone Black Angus Burger and Pappardelle with proseco sauce and truffles. Everything was plain and mediocre. The Pappardelle were not even close to the Trofiette with porcini mushrooms and truffle cream. Man I was always coming back to Osteria Gioia for that dish, it was wonderful. Also both the lasagnas (meat and vegetarian one) and the baked crepes with fontina cheese, porcini and parmesan were to die for. I feel really disappointed that the Pappardelle didn’t come close to the potential that they had. Don’t get me wrong, they were perfectly cooked but the proseco flavour was bitter and not good with the combination of truffles(which by the way it was not intense at all, not even a bit). Then I tried my boyfrined’s Calzone Burger. Boring meat which resemblance the romanian “mici”. The quality of the meat was disappointing. I am not a burger eater but i do enjoy a nice burger from time to time. Also it lacked spices and sauces bad. You cannot serve a burger like that. You can have awesome burgers at EMTE in Floreasca or even at Energiea. There are plenty of places in town with decent burgers, this is not one of them. Now la piece de resistance....was the Bitter Cherries Chocolate Duo with Nougatine Chips. So mediocre. Really guys, for awesome dessert better go next door to French Revolution, or Chocolat or for the same price you can buy the JW Steakhouse cheesecake which is heaven-sent. I feel really sorry, I wanted to love the place but the food is just not worth it. The staff was very kind and the service excellent, top-level. Also the guys working in the kitchen are really careful, they heat the plates, they pay attention to details. But that is just not enough. I hope they reconsider the menu and the flavours in the dishes. It can be improved a lot !
