Awful experience at the A&W drive-through on July 5, around 9-10PM. The staff working late that night were extremely rude. Our group was in a great mood going in, but the whole interaction felt like we were an inconvenience - the woman taking our order kept rushing us. The food was just as bad. The fries were stale, and out of the 6 burgers we ordered, not one was finished by our group. The only decent part of the visit was the diet root beer. If you’re reading this, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Judging by other reviews here, this location clearly has an ongoing problem. Hoping management actually sees this. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Waited 30 minutes for a breakfast order. There were only 4 customers; 2 ordered ahead of me and 1 after me. All 4 of us waited 25-30 minutes. When I finally got my order they had left the egg out of the sausage and egg on an English muffin. I returned it to the counter, explained that there was no egg and received a, "want me to fix it?" (exact quote). I said, "yes, please" and 5 minutes later got the re-assembled, now basically cold sausage with an egg. No apology, zero effort. If it was possible to experience worse service I don't know how. Done with A&W in Merritt. Pathetic. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20

So impressed by this A&W store and the integrity of the people who run it and work there. The food is consistently the wonderful A&W quality and the store does right by their customers when something does on occasion go awry. This is a small town that is super busy in the summer and times are challenging in terms of finding, training and retaining people which makes this store all that much more impressive! We will continue to happily give A&W, and this store in particular, our patronage!
