Great, old style upstairs bar with amazing atmosphere. Good selection of pub food with a European slant. Staff excellent - we had left a package behind but came back the following day and it was still there. Good selection of drinks Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great little Irish bar. Cosy, with a decent amount of bar space so you can see the experienced bartenders do what they do. No cover charge as well which is a big bonus and they open very late. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stumbled into Abbot's Beer and Whisky during a night out in Roppongi and ended up really glad we did. The place has a relaxed, no-fuss vibe — good for a group wanting to settle in for a few drinks without the chaos of some of the louder spots nearby. The Japanese whisky selection is the real draw. A solid lineup that gave us a chance to work through a few different pours and compare notes. Staff knew their stuff and were happy to make recommendations without being pushy.
