Whenever I’m in Ligonier, stopping at Abigail’s Coffee Shop is a must! The shop is so cute and welcoming. The staff are always so kind and make wonderful drinks. They’ll answer any questions you have and even help you select a drink based on your preferences! I’ve tried amazing drinks from there based on employee recommendations! I will continue to come back here for their delicious iced coffees and lattes! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The other day, my husband (who went to LHS long ago) dropped me off at the Diamond to windowshop while he paid his respects at a wake. It was late in the evening and the shops were closing. It was freezing outside so I walked to Abigail's Coffeehouse, the one shop where the lights were still on. I went inside and asked if they were open, explaining my situation. The owner said they were closing, but that I was welcome to come inside to warm up. He offered me a cup of coffee for free. I was moved by this simple yet generous act of hospitality. While I warmed myself at a table and he mopped the floors and his workers cleaned up the coffee counter, we talked about the challenges of maintaining a busy café, and other things like college-aged kids. His teenaged workers were respectful, sweet, and hardworking. Anyway, I just want to thank the owner again for his hospitality and kindness. Service: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Other
