We stopped here for our final meal and had lunch at Abysinnia before departing from our Toronto week’s vacation holiday. The service and food was provided by one person whom I believe may have been owner. He was very sweet and attentive. We ordered a platter for two, waters, and Ethiopian coffees Americano style. We made the decision to immerse ourselves in Ethiopian culture by eating only with our hands, which may seem very odd and foreign to some, but we strongly encourage everyone to try it. Everything was absolutely delicious and wonderful. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, plant-based and vegan Parking space: Not sure

First time here, the owner was extremely nice and helped us to choose the dish. We had veggie platter and it was awesome!! We will definitely come back here:D. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Worst Restaurant in TorontoI usually don’t write reviews (bad or good) about restaurants or businesses, and alway try my best to extend grace upon grace to all old and new businesses.But my experience yesterday June 12,2022 at Abyssinia Restaurant located at 884 Danforth Ave Toronto, I consider to be the WORST I’ve ever had in my entire life.I ordered seven meals, the meat was un cooked, dry with literally no sauce on it, no salt added, no spices and no marination of any kind. Furthermore, the enjira was extremely soar.As a result, my family and I ended up looking for something else to eat even though we spent nearly $175 in this purchase.My humble advice based on this experience: AVOID this restaurant as much as you can.
