Stayed nearby at the olive grove studios and ate here 3 times during our stay...traditional greek menu at reasonable prices...my wife loved the prawns and I thought the lamb kleftico was splendid...house wine perfect Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Despite it not being particularly busy the night we attended, they got our order wrong and we were charged for bread we didnt have. So the service was a bit of a let down here but the food was good and a reasonable price too. Price per person: €15–20

Gave the Acropolis taverna a try on the way way back to the Ai Helis Hotel from a day out in Lixouri. Parked in the rear car parking area behind, on arrival there were two couples at tables so not that busy. Others nearby were busy at this same time. In arrival we were given bottled water. He gave us the option of still or sparkling and he did mention it was free. So we said the sparkling water. As I was driving and the police as more active on the island I had been just having non alcoholic beers since driving. I was told they didn't do non alcoholic beers. So I had to have a coke instead. After quite a while he came back to take the order..we both had the saganaki and a pizza each. A margarita and pepperoni pizza We were waiting for quite some time expecting the bread . In the end we had ask for bread to keep us going. Starters finally arrived. Saganaki nice with a smaller than usual wedge of lemon. When the pizza's arrived initially they looked really good. When we started eating them it was a very difficult story. All you could taste was tomato , nothing else. Even my pepperoni one was just a tomato taste. No taste of pepperoni. Could have done with some oregano or something. I gave up half way in as it became bland and boring. He seemed surprised that we were finished. I didn't bother saying anything, just thought the review would say everything for me. Decided to just pay and go. By the time we left it was busier. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. There are far nicer and better value Taverna's nearby. Price per person: €15–20
