We used to love this place but tonight was absolutely horrible and we won’t be back because of it. We ordered takeout and the man checking us out was rude as we picked it up. On bringing it home, the vindaloo I ordered was ALL sauce with about 5 small pieces of chicken, with large fatty chunks on a couple. I called to ask about it but the man who answered said it was supposed to have “7 or 8 pieces of chicken and potatoes.” No potatoes and almost no chicken. Very disappointed and sad to say the food and customer services seems to have gone downhill.

Finally! An Indian Restaurant in Westerly—an excellent Indian restaurant! Had dinner and drinks there at the bar tonight. It’s a Tuesday, early, around 5:30pm so not crowded. I heard it can get crowded on the weekends, and it’s only been opened about 2 weeks. Great food. Very friendly, service from Kim as well as the owner and other staff. Left there feeling very happy that we now don’t have to travel out of our town to enjoy delicious Indian food. We had the chicken vindaloo and chicken tikka masala. Both were spiced just right (“medium spicy had a good “bite” to it, but wasn’t overwhelming. Adrak2 was even better than the places in Groton and Narragansett (and others) that we used to go to for many years. We also ordered a tandoori bread (onion kulcha), raita and papadam. All delicious. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, probably won’t be able to get near the place in the summer if word gets out!
