Fui por la buena puntuación y fue una decepción tremenda. Dos adultos y niño de 4 años pagamos casi 2000 bahts por un sushi mediocre, sin gracia alguna. Pescado mal cortado. Salí con muy mala leche del lugar. Por ese precio esperaba algo genial como en otros japos de Tailandia. Timo total. Lo único destacable es el ambiente y diseño interior

I recently visited Ageha Sushi in Lamai, Koh Samui, and overall it was a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is easy to find, and there’s a convenient parking area right at the front, which is always a plus when you’re driving around the island. The atmosphere was nice from the moment we arrived. The exterior looks inviting, and the interior is comfortable and well-kept, making it a good spot for a relaxed meal. It has that cozy Japanese restaurant feel that makes you want to settle in and enjoy your food. As for the food, the taste was on par with the general standard of Japanese restaurants in Thailand — solid and enjoyable, even if not extraordinary. What I really appreciated, though, was the presentation. Each dish was beautifully plated, and you could tell some care went into how the food was arranged. The desserts were a nice touch to round off the meal as well. The service was decent and met general expectations. The staff were attentive enough and got the job done, making for a smooth dining experience overall. If you’re in the Lamai area and craving some Japanese food, Ageha Sushi is a reasonable choice with tasty dishes, lovely presentation, and convenient parking. Not special. Decent food, but expensive. Decent food. Sushi was moderately good. Not great. Quite expensive for Thailand. About the same prices as Los Angeles, but lower quality. No fresh fish tonight.
The biggest issue for me was the service. The waitress seemed completely out to lunch. My Thai wife explained everything, yet she still forgot the soba soup my friend ordered, and in the middle of my order, she went to inquire about something, and never came back, for my order. My friends all started eating and I just sat there.
These guys seemed short handed. No excuse for that, with the kind of profit they are generating. Get another waitress, and demonstrate some commitment.
