The food was fantastic esp the today's braised.... Cause it depends on the day of the catch ... The chawanmushi is silky, the grilled eggplant was yummy, the braised wagyu melts and ending with a salmon porridge was the best! The service can be Abit of slow as it takes time for them to cook .... As they cook upon ordering.... Owner is pretty nice, trying his best to introduce and recommend his food although there is some language barrier..... We were there for dinner as a couple. Nice background music, the eggplant and the ika (squid) were amazing. We had never tasted whale bacon before. The owner is a joyous and very friendly guy.
