Reliably great Japanese food! My favourite spot for lunch in Cork. Amazing variety and quality. Good value for money. They have peaceful interiors and really friendly staff. Also charging ports for your phone/laptop. I love this place so much! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Akira is a new restaurant that opened in Cork last year with amazing Japanese food such as sushi, salmon bowl, seafood ramen, and chicken katsu roll. I can't recall the exact food I had there the last time I went, but it was a dish with chicken and salad with a traditional sauce. I also enjoyed eating my food with chopsticks, though it honestly took me some time to get used to while I was eating. Nonetheless, the food was delicious. The environment in the restaurant is clean and the decor and seating is superb! The waiters were polite and punctual. This food at Akira is halal. I can't wait to go there again!
