The food was good, but we had to wait twice as long as forecasted for a seat, 1 hour versus 30 minutes, and then had to wait fairly long after ordering to get out food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

This has been our go to fish fry place for many year's. My husband and I brought my mother here this past Fri night. We were the first customers in the door. The first plate of fish was burned, hard as a rock (husband was banging a piece on the table), and dry. Fries were undercooked. Pale visually and raw inside. Potato pancakes were room temp. Got another round. Fish was cooked correctly but doesn't taste the way it usually does. Breading tasted different and thick. Not the light crispy breading we are accustomed to. Fries were crisp and hot this time. Potato pancakes, room temperature. Tried a third time with the pancakes. Still room temperature. My husband said that the first round of fish has wiped out all the year's of great meals we have had there and maybe after COVID is over we will come back again. Until then, we will be trying other restaurants when we want a fish fry. Tipped our waitress , Jennifer , generously as she was a good server and our experience was not her fault.
