This was my third visit to the restaurant, and overall the food has been consistently enjoyable. On this visit, we ordered the Chicken Kabsa and the Chicken Mantil Handi. The Chicken Kabsa was well-portioned, flavorful, and lived up to expectations. The Chicken Mantil Handi also tasted good, but the serving size was noticeably smaller than expected for the price. For dessert, we tried the Kunafa. While it was enjoyable in its own way, it was more of a local interpretation than an authentic Kunafa. Some creative modifications had clearly been made, which may appeal to some diners, but those expecting the traditional dessert might find it different from the original. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was hygiene. One of the plates at our table had visible red stains, suggesting it had not been cleaned properly. In addition, a fly landed in our glass of water within a few minutes of it being poured, raising concerns about cleanliness in the dining area. The staff did compensate us with an extra dessert, which was a thoughtful gesture, but I would much rather see greater emphasis placed on maintaining proper hygiene standards than receiving compensation after the fact. Another aspect that felt poorly planned was the washroom location. The washrooms are positioned directly opposite the main entrance and reception, making them immediately visible upon entering the restaurant. This creates an awkward first impression and detracts from the overall dining atmosphere. Overall, the food quality is good and has been consistently satisfying across my three visits, which is why I continue to return. However, hygiene and cleanliness are fundamental to any dining experience and require immediate attention. Addressing these issues would significantly improve the overall experience and better reflect the quality of the food being served. Price per person: Rs 3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Had a great experience at Ala Rahi. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was excellent. We tried the Ala Rosh for the first time and absolutely enjoyed it. The staff was very cooperative and helped us choose from the menu. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended! ️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a great experience at Ala Rahi. The ambiance was welcoming, and the overall vibe made the visit even more enjoyable. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We tried the Mantil Handi, Aatish Dajjaj, and Kebabs, and every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I also appreciated their selection of local drinks, which added a nice touch to the experience. With the air conditioning working perfectly in this heat, it made for a very comfortable dining experience. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again.
