Ordered for first time online but collected in person. Wasn't sure on sizes so ordered 2 curries, 2 rice, 2 naans and a portion of onion bhajis for myself and my son in regular portion sizes. Sside from the bhajis we have enough for 2 meals each! I had 7 thick slices of chicken in my curry. My son had big chunks of lamb. The naans are the size of a dinner plate so could of had just one between us. The shop is 5* hygiene rated, clean and tidy. Staff were very polite and friendly. I could see into the kitchen which was clean and organised. Chefs where in proper whites and aprons, headwear and even beard net which is something you rarely see in takeaways in my experience. They have their own delivery driver so I would recommend ordering by phone or online at their website rather than third party food delivery options that actually charge you more! Really impressed all round. Clean, friendly, tasty and generous portions. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

Second time we have received cold food via delivery, guy on the phone didn't really seem to care and put the phone down, won't be using them again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

Really impressed with New Rupa Tandoori! The food was full of flavour — the Lamb Tikka Masala was perfectly cooked and rich, while the Lamb Korai had just the right amount of spice. The naan was soft and fresh, and everything arrived hot and on time. Friendly service and great value for money — definitely my go-to Indian in Stevenage!
