I just watched a film at Alamo, my first time since phone ordering. I've been an Austin Alamo customer since they opened and always enjoyed and appreciated the "experience". The old Alamo is dead, replaced by a Sony corporate version that someone thinks will satisfy their customers. It doesn't! Scan a QR code in a dark theater and make me key in my card info...nope! Even the review responses appear to be from a bot. This review is not intended for the house staff who still provide excellent and friendly service.

Bummer how they've changed it to be just another corporate place. The Alamo I used to love and go to frequently is now gone. The recliners are nice, the non-moveable tables stink. What used to be an inviting and fun lobby now has half of it taken up by the county fair arcade games. The new ordering system is impersonable and just didn't do it for me. Why change something that wasn't broken? Won't be back much, if at all.

Your feedback about the recliners, tables, and the new ordering system is valuable, and we'll be sure to share it with our team.
