Excellent restaurant, amazing food, great service! The ambience is really fine and sofisticated and in scorching Side heat in the early afternoon the inside was really nice and cool. I went there during the day (when apparently they are just preparing for evening rush) so I was almost the only patron but the waiter (whose name I didn't get, sorry) and chef Rıza did everything in their power for me to have a great lunch there. I ordered a sea bass and got a perfection of the most tender, tasty fish I've eaten in a long time (and trust me, 700 grams of fish is NOT too much for one person, on the contrary). For dessert I had a "baked helva". It's like hot helva (sweet sesame paste) but in semi liquid state, with nuts on top. The taste was to die for but it was also very strong, I could eat only one quarter of it. But complimentary Turkish coffee came as a very welcome palate cleanser. On my way out, the staff showed me a buffet with meze, a great collection of appetizers usually served with local drink, rakı. And each looked better than the next! Some I tasted and they taste just as good as they look. The price was higher compared to pizza and burger (pide and köfte ) places but very reasonable for such high end restaurant. In short, I highly recommend İskele Balık Side restaurant to everyone looking for quality and tasty food. Afıyet olsun! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ₺2,000+
