Fantastic Vietnamese spot in Strathfield . The Special Pho DAC BIET was loaded with meat , and the broth was super flavourful without being oily . The Bun Bo Hue was rich, hearty, and packed with meaty goodness . The serving sizes were pretty big too . I’d also definitely recommend the Nem cua be Hai Phong; it was really crispy and filled with tasty goodness . You order and pay at the counter at the back of the restaurant . The place was bright and well-kept, and the staff were polite and professional . Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a lovely dining experience at Alo Ban. The restaurant has a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, making it a nice spot for both family meals and casual catch-ups with friends. The highlight for me was the Special Pho Dac Biet. The bowl was generously filled with beef tendon, tripe, beef balls and sliced beef, and the broth was rich and comforting. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also very aromatic, and you could really taste the strong coffee flavour from the Vietnamese beans. We also tried the Bun Cha Hanoi, which had a pleasant balance of sweet and savoury flavours. Friendly service and a good variety of Vietnamese dishes on the menu.
