Nice coffee shop, shame they were force to move as the previous spot was convenient. Better coffee than mc Donald's, it's better to give them money than multi national corporation.

Interior and staff were lovely. However, went here today with my boyfriend and ordered the banana bread (tasted a little bland and weird), the cheese melt (didn’t state on the menu that it came with tomato-which my bf has an intolerance to), the chai frappe (was lovely), the tradie roll (was good) and the berry smoothie (tasted a little weird. Kinda like the berries were old or something was off. Asked staff member to make it sweeter, but that couldn’t save it)

In Short: Alt Cafe is that little cafe in Blacktown that punches above its weight. Sublime coffee with a menu that’s exciting and evolving. Our tip, definitely try your favourite cup of coffee and pair it with the Ancient Grains bowl with Apple Pie. You will not be disappointed. For this week’s discovery all credit has go to Ramen Raff. When I saw his post praising the good things happening at Alt Cafe, I was there the next day to try it out. It’s been a few weeks since that first visit and I have made a few visits to see how the menu has evolved over that time.
