Beautiful place. Food was awful. Literally did not touch 2 of the 3 plates. Some of the cocktails were good- roof top view in city- very nice setting. Too bad the food was so bad, especially with these kinds of prices. We won’t be back. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

I have never left a bad review for a restaurant or any other type of establishment I have ever visited, but I feel the need to leave one after yesterday evening. My wife and I have been Altana Rooftop Lounge once before, roughly two years ago, and had a wonderful experience. We decided to revisit the restaurant for our fifteenth wedding anniversary. We had a terrible experience. When we ordered our drinks, I was told that the third-floor rooftop had no beers on draft and offered me a choice of seven bottled beers. My wife and I noticed that the menu had changed and had much less on it than we remembered. Then I went to order my food, and I was told after I ordered it that they ran out of that dinner meal, so I ordered something else, and our server had to go back and check to make sure they had it before he confirmed my order. We ordered our food, and it took 45 minutes for it to arrive, and the server did not even bring out our entire order. It was another 15 mins before he brought out the rest. The food was so salty that my wife did not finish her dinner. My salmon was decent, but again tasted salty. We were extremely dissatisfied with our experience, especially knowing we had dropped $150 for the meal. We noticed other people left almost a complete meal at their table and left. We joked on the way home that Sheetz or McDonald’s would have been a better experience. We now know better than to go there again. So disappointing.
