Service was slow and the waitress got the drink order wrong. Two dinners came with the wrong vegetables. The boiled seafood combo was bland and tasteless. All of the fish portions were unusually small for this type of meal and price. The crab bisque was the only bright spot. With so many other restaurants in the area this will be our only visit here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Anchorage Tavern Restaurant is hands down one of my favorite seafood restaurants in Jersey. It's set up in a gorgeous old house and has ample indoor and outdoor seating. If you can, definitely try to sit outside, you can see out on the water and it's so lovely there. I can't say enough wonderful things about their professional customer service, they truly are attentive but not overbearing and they have just the right touch so you're never waiting on refills or if you need something else. They know just how to make sure your meal is just right. Their menu is expansive and the hardest part of dining here is just picking what you want to eat. I'll definitely be coming back here over the coming years as you now have a patron for life!
