After a wonderful meze for lunch elsewhere on the island we popped in to Apico for an evening snack as it was close to our hotel. Our choice of a chicken burger for me and vegan burger for my wife proved to be distinctly average, with no real effort to dress up the meal other than a mountain of French fries with each burger. Service was also pretty slow and basic with various young (and presumably new) waiters struggling to carry meals without using their fingers to hold food on the plates. Whilst the location is good, everything else about Apico was very ordinary and forgettable. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–15

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered the ravioli (€15), which consisted of only 4 small pieces and was completely tasteless. After trying it, I politely asked the waiter if I could replace it with another dish because I genuinely didn’t enjoy it. He agreed, and I ordered a pizza instead. To my surprise, when the bill arrived, I was charged for both dishes. When I questioned it, the waiter simply said it was “my problem.” That is unacceptable customer service. A restaurant should care about customer satisfaction, especially when a dish is returned almost untouched because of its poor quality. On top of that, there was a strong sewage smell inside the restaurant, which made the dining experience even worse. I cannot recommend this place. Overpriced food, poor quality, terrible customer service, and an unpleasant atmosphere. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €25–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This was the worst meal I've ever had in Greece. My husband ordered wedges and he got runny puree which was like baby food. I ordered a chicken fillet burger and got two manky chicken nuggets which were grey and chewy. We paid the bill but did not eat much of the food. We then complained to the owner and she was very aggressive and told us we were not speaking to her in her mother tongue!!! Do not go there... I am sorry for your misunderstanding. What I told you is that I may cannot express myself because you talk your mother tongue while I don't. And that if you had a problem with your dishes you should have told us before so that we can fix it. You husband, though. found the pork delicious even though it was not served with wedges ( which we would serve if you had let us know the problem) Wish you have a great holiday and enjoy life!
