Cheese pizza I loved, sauces are thick and could taste the rich tomato flavor. Sausage spinach pizza also tasted amazing. Pepperoni was mid, it was was too sweet for my tastes, kind of ruined it for me and there weren’t enough pepperoni slices. Ranch sauce was great and loved dipping the crunchy crust into the sauce. On the expensive side for pizza but would come back. Food: 4 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner

Gave Appizza a fair go (three visits for science), and it pretty much confirms what you’d expect given it’s tied to AP Bakery. The same premium spin on food that’s traditionally meant to be affordable. The pizza is decent enough and the setting is nice, but the price just doesn’t feel right for what you get. It’s one of those places where you keep thinking “maybe next time it’ll click” but it never quite does. Staff are patient, though the service leans more toward riding the hype than warm, welcoming hospitality. Worth trying once if you’re curious about the style.
