I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and overall experience at the Applebee’s on Windsor Spring Road in Augusta, GA. My significant other and I arrived around 10:30 PM after attending an event. Upon entering the restaurant, no one greeted us. The hostess was engaged in a conversation and continued talking even after we said, “Hello.” It wasn’t until I repeated myself louder that we were finally acknowledged and seated. A waitress eventually approached our table, tapped on the table to get our attention, and bluntly stated that she was there to take our order. We asked for a few minutes to review the menu, but those few minutes turned into 15–20 minutes before she returned. We ordered the 2 for $25 meal deal, which included two Caesar salads, Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, and Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo. The Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp arrived first, followed by the two salads. After taking a bite, we immediately realized the salads had ranch dressing instead of Caesar dressing. When we asked for Caesar dressing, the waitress simply stated, “We don’t have that.” It’s difficult to understand how a restaurant can serve Caesar salads without Caesar dressing. Things only got worse from there. Instead of my Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo, I was served Chicken Parmesan. I was told the correct dish would be brought out “as soon as possible.” That turned into another 30-minute wait. During that time, I watched our waitress sit at a nearby table and eat her dinner while we were still waiting for our food. To make matters worse, the waitress then brought the payment device to the table and instructed us to pay before I had even received my meal. There was no opportunity to properly review the bill. When I navigated back to check the charges, I discovered we had been charged $50.99, even though our meal was supposed to be the 2 for $25 special. At that point, I requested to speak with the manager. I explained my frustration with the poor service, incorrect food, excessive wait times, and billing issues. We had been in the restaurant well over an hour, and I still had not received my meal. The manager eventually corrected the bill and brought my Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo out in a to-go container. Unfortunately, the disappointment continued after we got home. I was starving and opened the container expecting at least a decent meal. Instead, I found what was easily the driest pasta dish I have ever been served. From being ignored upon arrival, to being tapped on the table rather than greeted, incorrect food, missing ingredients, excessive wait times, billing errors, and poor service throughout the evening, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Whatever you do, avoid this location. I will not be returning. If I could give this place 0 starts then I would. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The waitstaff was friendly, but unfortunately the overall experience was extremely disappointing. We could barely hear our server when she spoke, and I never received my water until we were paying the bill. My steak was cooked well, but the timing of the food was terrible. I had finished my entire meal before my sister even received her first plate of BBQ wings. We then waited over an hour for a side of grilled shrimp that never arrived, so we finally canceled it. To make matters worse, we eventually received the ribs and there were only two pieces. After spending nearly two hours at Applebee's, we ended up sharing a steak and never received the rest of the food we ordered. The staff was pleasant, but the extremely slow service, missing items, and poor food timing made for a very frustrating dining experience. I wouldn't return based on this visit. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Dreshawn and CJ were amazing! Excellent experience from start to finish! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel valued throughout our visit. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. Great food and even better service!
