I wanted to give a huge shoutout to the team at Applebee's Grill + Bar (Strongsville, OH)! After a truly disappointing experience at the Middleburg Heights location, switching to the Strongsville spot was a breath of fresh air. The service here was incredibly fast and responsive. Our server was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed right away. It was the polar opposite of my recent visit to the Middleburg Hts location. There, the bartender was incredibly rude and unprofessional—she was literally bashing plates down on our table. Most upsetting was the clear bias we experienced; we could plainly see her acting and talking completely differently to the other tables compared to how she treated us. The lack of basic communication and respect was jarring. Suggestion: I highly recommend that the Middleburg Heights management conduct a thorough review of their staff’s professional conduct and implement mandatory diversity and sensitivity training. Every guest deserves to feel welcomed, not targeted. Thank you, Strongsville, for showing us what great service looks like!
