Came for lunch with my family. I walked in a Joe greeted us with a smile. He was awesome. He sat us down and went over the fish n chips specials. Once we were sat it all went down hill. I don’t remember my servers name but we sat to the left of the restaurant by the windows. Once our server came by after 10 mins of waiting already to say give her 5 mins she has a big party to take there order. 15 mins later she came back and asked if we were ready for drinks. I said we are ready for everything and she gave an irritating look. She took our order then still waited over a total of almost 30 mins for drinks. Food came out in a good time. But when it came out it with no cheese which I was told was extra and was fine and no mayo. She noticed there was no cheese and on her way back out brought us the cheese. It was cold I wasn’t going to put that on my sandwich. She then says after dropping it off and walking away and noticed I was angry asked if I want it brought back to melt the cheese. I told her she could just take it back I dont want it anymore I was already here for 35-40 mins at this point. Then NO manager ever came by the table and try to make anything better. I saw the manager walking around to another table to drop something off so it wasn’t that he was to busy just probably thought I was going to be difficult which I’m far from I just want what I’m paying for to come out right. My son needed more to drink and she walked by serval times and didn’t fill it. So I walked up to the bar and got it myself. The bartender was very nice and got it with quickness and a smile. This was a horrible experience that could have been avoided. I will never go to this Applebees again. I’ll stick with the one by my house I go there all the time and never have issues like this.
