Absolutely the Worst Applebee's Experience I've Ever Had and we go here often..but service and food keep getting worse it seems.... This was, without question, one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had. The restaurant had only about six tables occupied in the entire building, and only three appeared to be assigned to our server, yet the service was unbelievably poor. We constantly had empty drinks and waited forever for refills. Multiple employees, including the hostess, bartender, and another waitress, were standing around while our drinks sat empty. At one point, staff members were literally gathered together talking while watching our table struggle to get basic service. We asked for honey mustard multiple times and never received it. We also had to repeatedly ask for lemons that were supposed to come with the meal and I never got it. The food was just as bad as the service. The fries were cold, hard, and stale, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period. One fry was so hard that my child complained of pain after biting into it and needed children's Tylenol afterward. The Chicken Alfredo was terrible, with chicken that was dry, chewy, and clearly overcooked. The Lemon Parmesan Chicken took approximately 20 minutes to arrive, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. What made the experience even more frustrating was the complete lack of awareness from the staff. Rather than checking on tables with empty drinks and missing items, employees seemed more interested in standing around talking. At one point, our server cleared another table before addressing our empty drinks or the items we had already requested multiple times. When it came time to leave, the frustration continued. It took approximately 15 minutes just to get our bill picked up and processed. By that point, we were simply trying to get out of the restaurant. The most disappointing part wasn't just that our server was struggling—it was that the entire team allowed it to happen. There was no teamwork, no urgency, and no effort from management or other staff members to help. Meanwhile, food was coming out cold, requests were being ignored, and customers were left waiting. Our bill was nearly $90, and despite everything, I still left a $5 tip, which was honestly difficult to justify given the experience. Applebee's used to be a dependable family restaurant for us to go to. This location has become the exact opposite. The poor service, cold food, ignored requests, lack of teamwork, and complete absence of customer care made this visit unforgettable for all the wrong reasons and mind you, this was at 830pm. This location needs serious management intervention. Until something changes, I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. So the food was alright, I guess. However, the fact is it took us roughly 15 minutes to get service when there were only 4 other tables. I saw a server counting her tips and not helping customers. There was one person who actually did help. It took us an extra 7 minutes to even get our check. We basically didn't get service; the only time they did show up fast was to give us the bill. It took even longer to pay it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We stopped at Applebee's Grill + Bar for Sunday dinner and had a great time. We had the 2 for $25 and we both got cheeseburgers. Our onion rings came out hot and fresh. Our server was friendly and was able to answer our questions. The atmosphere of Applebee's is fun with murals of local places in the city.
