So, we went to the Kalispell location again last week to celebrate a birthday. Seems they are slowly fixing their flaws. We waited so long to return (over a year, maybe two) because of a really unpleasant experience we had there last time. Someone gave me a gift card for there though, so we decided to give it another shot during Happy Hour. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE, STAFF, FOOD: During our last visit, they had horribly rude staff members that were visibly arguing with each other in view of the patrons, resulting in the worst food and customer service. They were very slow, even though we were only one of about three total tables in the otherwise empty establishment. It took forever to get drinks, and they never came to check on us or offer refills. A few of the drinks were wrong, but we weren't given an opportunity to remedy that. Over an hour late, our food finally came out from the back, served by the chef herself. She was obviously frustrated and apologized profusely. Regarding the food, however, nothing was edible. I mean nothing. If a dish wasn't entirely wrong, it was cold. Only one plate came out hot, and it was an extremely undercooked steak that looked dangerous to eat (not medium-rare as requested). Fortunately, the staff all agreed it was a giant mess-up and ended up taking almost all the food off the bill, excluding the drinks. 05/26 EXPERIENCE, STAFF, FOOD: They were much busier this time, and the hostess was confused about where to seat us because a shift change had just started. She finally figured out where to put me after I awkwardly stood in the middle of the restaurant waiting for her direction for several minutes. I sat waiting for my daughter and waiting to order a drink. After over 10 minutes, I finally, politely, had someone flag down my server, as I didn't even know who she was. I ordered a drink but was delivered the wrong one. However, she had it corrected upon request. Her attitude definitely improved as the dinner progressed. We ordered a bunch of half-price appetizers and a basic burger with fries. Everything came out warm, delicious, perfectly seasoned, and exactly what we were hoping for. Seems they're moving in the right direction for sure! Maybe they just need a little more training with the staff so things run a bit smoother. I hope they keep it uo, definitely a step up from the prior experience. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I work on Main and do food deliveries after work (around 5–8pm) a few times a week for extra weekend money, and I pick up from this restaurant regularly. There are usually two hosts up front greeting people, which is nice, but after that the experience for drivers is honestly pretty frustrating. There’s no clear pickup area for takeout, so you’re left standing around trying to figure out where you’re supposed to be. Most of the time, drivers end up waiting 10+ minutes before anyone acknowledges them. Servers are visible but don’t really engage, and it often feels like you’re being ignored or overlooked while standing there. When someone finally does help, the order is usually already ready—it just hasn’t been brought out yet. It feels more like a delay in communication than anything else. I don’t want to sit and take up space; I just need a quick pickup so I can keep working. If a restaurant offers delivery services, there should be a clear and respectful system for drivers too. The food is average at best. I have ordered several dishes throughout the menu. There are very few menu items that I consider to be consistently good, so I usually stick to those. What, or rather, who that keeps us coming back are Jennifer and Desiree in the bar. They always provide great service and outstanding cocktails with a side of delightful conversation. If they weren't there, we wouldn't be either! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes
