We got seated, Lily was our server, she gave us menus, drinks, and then crickets. We were not wearing any camo, so we did not blend in, but we did got forgotten. Our orders did not get taken. So we paid the hostess for our drink and left disappointed. I welcome a manger to explain what happened. This was a horrible experience considering the restaurant wasn't even what I would consider busy. Applebee's If I could give a zero star, I would. Price per person: $1–10

Up to 4 star. Service and food is better again! June 2026 Keeping old reviews though sorry:. Was 5 star, tonight 9/12/23. Ordered our wings an hour ago. A to go ordered after us and someone across the bar came in after us and ordered wings ( I'm so mad I can't type) the bartender (after an hour of waiting) told us "it's coming, there's only 2 cooks on". Really. You served 2 people that came in after us, before us. Wings and fries are easy drops. You never checked on why OUR food wasn't served yet. Whether it was bartender or cooks fault, bartender is front line. I also noted a waitress had to tell her she had a drink ticket earlier when we first arrived and the bartender didn't seem concerned. What the heck Applebees. Very disappointed tonight. Left with no food, a $20 bar tab. Told her to cancel our order. If we would have finally gotten our wings, how long would it have been if we wanted more. And it wasn't that busy. We've been there on busier nights and food has come out in record time and good!!! Previous experience below that was 5 star and not with this bartender on 9/12/23. 2 for $30 pasta n steak is our go to! Bartenders are always friendly! Order type: Dine in Price per person: $10–20

I visited my cousin in Rice Lake 2-26-2021.. we decided to have lunch at Applebees in Rice Lake and we found it to be wonderful. Service was great and food as always was wonderful. Upon entering hostess explained that they were short staffed but would do the best they could and we both felt service again was great as well as food delivery.
