Apron, Vienna, Austria. One of Vienna’s fine dining experiences. The menu offers a modern, creative approach to Austrian cuisine, with beautifully presented tasting menus that focus on seasonal ingredients. The open kitchen adds energy to the room. Service is professional without becoming overly formal. Some dishes are memorable although some may find the experience more focused on technique and presentation than flavours. We usually make it a point to try a Michelin restaurant when we travel, and in Vienna we chose Apron. We went for the tasting menu, and the experience from start to finish was beautifully executed. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and perfectly done, to the point where it wouldn’t be fair to single out just one. The space itself feels warm and intimate, with a calm and elegant crowd that matches the overall atmosphere. Service was extremely friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel very welcoming rather than formal. One of the highlights was definitely the dessert, it just kept coming and coming, incredibly generous and memorable. We even left with an Apron chocolate bar, which was a lovely final touch. It’s priced as you would expect for a Michelin experience, but absolutely worth it. Overall, a truly special dining experience and a place I would definitely visit again — and recommend if you're in Vienna. Price per person: €100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
