It is a huge disappointment that in 2026, within the European Union, a major and busy shopping mall like Árkád Pécs is still not dog-friendly. Nowadays, so many people travel both domestically and internationally with their pets. Many of us specifically plan our trips and shopping around places where dogs are welcome. With this rigid policy, the mall is not only taking away the shopping experience from pet owners but is also losing a massive number of potential customers. The current regulations and house rules are desperately in need of a review. The mall would be much more modern and customer-friendly if it opened its doors to people visiting with pets, just like countless other modern shopping centers already do. Unfortunately, under these conditions, we won't be coming back.
