Restaurant is fairly intimate. Food quality is great and reasonably priced. Service is excellent - the lady managing front of house was over everything. Choices of areas to sit in which all have different vibes. I'd come back again. Worth a visit. Price per person: £20–30

We came here years ago and had a good meal. We were passing and thought We'd stop for dinner. We were given 'the wrong menu'...special prices for Mon -Thurs... we went on a Friday. To be fair, the cheaper prices were honored but only after we'd asked about it. Too many staff and not enough clients....We had at least 4 different staff and others were standing around talking when tables need clearing, or more drinks offered or even asking if everything was OK with the meal. The Creme Brulee wasn't Creme Brulee...wasn't even Creme caramel... Brulee is made with Double Cream not milk. ...Should be a creamy flavour and not bland. The Pie was so hot that it nearly burnt your mouth...never had anything so hot ....even after 10mins arriving. Price per person: £30–40

We had a great time at the Arkle Manor last Saturday evening. I had never been before as it's quite out the way for me but our friends with us are local and highly recommend here. Four of us in attendance and we got a table in the cosy part of the back of the venue and it was fairly steady with other tables all evening. The service was with a smile and friendly and the food delicious. They were good portions, and one of us even ordered the T-bone steak which was enormous! The cocktails we had were so tasty; would definitely recommend the amaretto sour. If we are in the area again we would be glad to stop in for lunch/dinner after the lovely evening we had. Price per person: £80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: Good choice of fish for those with a pescatarian diet
