I had the egusi with pounded yam and the jollof rice with beef and plantains, and everything was delicious. The food tasted like a home-cooked meal—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The owners showed warm and friendly hospitality. If you're looking for authentic, west African food— I recommend paying Asanka Local a visit. This is one of the best Ghanaian food I had outside my mother's kitchen. I brought my daughter's with me and they loved the food. They said, "This food taste like Grandma made it".
